Overview
TabMe lets you pre-authorize a monetary amount (a “Tab”) that a recipient can redeem for drinks, meals, or other consumables. Because Tabs function as near-instant digital gift cards for consumables (e.g., coffee, beer), redeemed value is not refundable.
Unused or Cancelled Tabs
If no portion of the Tab has been redeemed, you may cancel it within 7 days of purchase. The pre-authorization hold will be released automatically, and your bank or card issuer will remove the pending charge according to their own processing timeline (typically 3–5 business days).
If a Tab goes unused, the full hold amount will be returned to the original payer. Only the portion of the Tab that is actually redeemed will be charged.
